ISO14001 is an internationally recognised accreditation for companies that can justifiably claim to be environmentally friendly as the organisation’s environmentally aware practices are externally audited by an internationally approved organisation. All aspects of the print process are audited from waste paper disposal, chemical usage, water and energy use. ISO14001 is the first step to a measurable and validated environmentally-friendly print operation. Only 14 out of 5,500 Australian printers have been accepted for ISO14001 (Australian Printer May 2007) and they are the only printing companies who can use the official ISO14001 Logos. Maintaining the ISO 14001 accreditation is an ongoing process that requires constant commitment to improving environmental processes with ongoing external audits ensuring the standards are being maintained and improved. FSC Certification

Print Dynamics is an FSC certified organisation. The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international network that promotes responsible management of the world’s forests. They have developed certification programs that certify organisations that can demonstrate that the resources used come from forests that meet stringent environmental, social and economic standards. The stringent FSC certification involves maintaining stringent records as to the source of paper throughout the print process. These processes are audited by FSC to ensure that they are being met.
